Alright, alright! I finally got off my bum and scanned in these ancient pages. The two of them have identical pages up to page 16 where it diverges. Sorry about the mini-cliffhanger in Pilot B. ^^;; Also, no online reading for now (unless you guys request it).

Pilot A (2002 version) - download
Pilot B (2004 version) - download

Read the notes in the zip for more comments on the chapters themselves. Enjoy!

Wow, these are great too! THANK YOU SO MUCH :D:D

....Just that I can't seem to access Pilot B. It seems to still give me Pilot A. Would love to see that too!

Both are uploaded, the second link merely points to the first file. Change the url in the new tab/window it opens and you can get the 2004 version. Or you could just click the link again, because I modified Ann's post. The two start out similar, but you can see there are different numbers of pages and some other things altered.

In the middle of downloading,
so I'll be able to check out more  of the manga that I really do like.
I've liked what I've seen so far with Nail Marks on the Palm.

Looking forward to another "Thomas" Paladin as found in Nail Marks on the Palm.
I didn't know that Pilot B was gonna be a Psychoteers side story.?..
Still pretty good anyway though.
I like the cover and the other art pieces on the Paladin page.

Peace and Blessings,

and I happen to like Pilot A more than B...
Pilot A happens to have more of a spiritual warfare meaning behind it...

Thanks, guys!

Thomas' story is actually a spin-off as the original Paladin had always been meant to be an alternate story of the Psychoteers characters. Thomas, and Vera, do get mentioned in the main plot later on though.

You like Pilot A better eh, Markus? XD It works in a short story, but in the long run the powers in it were way too sorcery-like for my tastes. It really pushed the boundary between magic and spiritual and I can foresee a lot of theological problems stemming from that set-up. Like that seal thing Jessy put in to trap Aquarius--why would God need to work through seals and runes? And it sorta implies that the power comes from the seals themselves rather than from God.

That's why in the current versions things are waaaaay toned down with more limits in place. Hopefully it keeps the attention on how the characters depend on Him in working through a problem/obstacle rather than having them go around and blast everything in sight. XD

I need to stop reading tings so late.
I liked pilot A since it was a short story and I saw some Scripture reference at the end
But since I read it late maybe I overlooked the sorcery stuff.
Sorry if so.
The Pilot is from 2002 and I'm sure you've grown more in Christ and noticed that the Pilot needed some changes since that time.
So looking forward to how the new Paladin will turn out.

Be strong and of a good courage as our power comes from Him which is above.

I'm more awake now
and I went back over pilot A.
Now I see what you mean.
_On page 16 there's the Kocher's ring?
and page 17 mentions the seal...
Then some of it does look too mystical and the demons mythological.
At the end of the pilot it mentions that the demons are fallen angels. (Rev.12:7-10)
_Something to think about...
and I'm sure everything will work out fine with the manga.
